About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage global/regional ocean RFQs as product interface between regional ocean product and commercial organization
- Provide market information and product guidance to bid owners
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute product strategies
- Improve product performance and ensure customer satisfaction
- RFQ coordination for pre-qualified global/multi-national ocean RFQs
- Ensure compliance with tender management and trade lane management processes
- Coordinate and manage incoming RFQs within given deadlines
- Analyze RFQs and provide input to product for strategy definition and prioritization
- Request PTP rates from FCL trade lane managers and review/validate information received
- Provide market intelligence about ocean freight products
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, logistics, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in ocean freight or related roles in the transportation and logistics industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry
- Experience with data analysis and market research
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
