Senior IT Specialist, SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide functional expertise and solution recommendations within SAP FI/CO, ensuring alignment with business requirements and DSV template standards.
- Configure SAP FI/CO modules and support end-to-end implementation activities.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Prepare and maintain detailed design, requirement, and technical documentation.
- Analyze gaps and assess impacts in existing finance business processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and SAP teams to design, test, implement, train, and deploy solutions.
- Ensure functional support for SAP FI/CO modules in a global production environment.
- Apply problem-solving and critical thinking to address complex financial and technical challenges.
- Participate in global rollout projects and support continuous system improvements.
- Drive workshops, knowledge sharing sessions, and end-user training activities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field
- Strong functional expertise in SAP FI/CO modules, including configuration and support
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (preferred 2+ years of experience)
- Understanding of end-to-end finance business processes
- Experience in writing functional and technical documentation
- Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience delivering workshops and training sessions
- Advanced English (spoken and written)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
