Key responsibilities & impact

Designing and implementing common contract logistics processes.
Driving continuous performance improvement.
Providing engineering support for new and/or expanding business implementations.
Supporting multifaceted operations and understanding client needs.
Contributing to facility layout and design, including equipment determination.
Leading & managing necessary vendors for physical implementation.
Maintaining financial and engineering metrics to meet/exceed performance goals.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering required or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a supply chain (warehouse/4walls) environment.
Prior leadership positions directing Logistics Engineers in 3PL/supply chain environment.
Advanced knowledge of statistics.
Proficiency in MS Office Applications with advanced knowledge of Excel, Access and Power BI.
Insight into a Warehouse Management Systems allowing for understanding of system capabilities.
AutoCAD.
Lean methodologies.
Six Sigma tools.
Knowledge of various storage methodologies as well as material handling equipment.
Storage and process design.
