About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Accept and process customer bookings accurately and efficiently.
Manage cross-trade shipments from booking through to final delivery.
Proactively monitor shipments and provide timely updates to customers and stakeholders.
Identify and resolve operational issues, delays, or service challenges.
Liaise with carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
Ensure customer invoices are raised accurately and within agreed timescales.
Chase and validate supplier costs to ensure complete and timely financial closure of jobs.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Previous experience within transport, logistics, freight forwarding, or international road operations preferred.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload.
Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
Good IT skills and experience using transport management systems and Microsoft Office.
A positive attitude and the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
