About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely completion of tasks.
KPI & Performance Delivery: Ensure contractual KPIs are achieved/exceeded, monitoring performance daily and addressing any shortfalls.
Customer Focus: Act as the first line of support for customers and DSV, handling issues proactively and ensuring on-time, in-full deliveries.
Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, train and develop warehouse staff; manage workloads and foster a positive, engaging and safe working culture.
Health & Safety Compliance: Promote a strong safety culture; ensure compliance with H&S regulations, company policies, and best practices.
Resource Planning: Support shift planning and allocation of resources to meet demand, including agency management where required.
Quality Standards: Ensure processes and outputs meet customer and DSV quality standards; investigate and resolve operational issues.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of performance, compliance, and customer reporting requirements.
KPI Management & Invoicing: Manage location KPIs and support the accurate completion of customer invoicing processes.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
Auditing & Stock Integrity: Support cycle counts, audits, and investigations to maintain stock accuracy.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience in warehouse supervision within logistics or supply chain.
Strong people management and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
IT literate, with experience using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver results against KPIs.
Knowledge of H&S, compliance, and warehouse best practices.
