About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for designing and implementing common contract logistics processes and driving continuous performance improvement
- Provide engineering support for new and/or expanding business implementations
- Support multifaceted operations and have a detailed understanding of client needs
- Contribute to the overall facility layout and design as well as determine appropriate equipment to support the concept of operational use
- Lead & manage any necessary vendors, as they execute the physical implementation of the solution
- Maintain financial and engineering metrics that will meet or exceed performance goals
- Provide guidance and training to interns/Co-ops
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering required or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a supply chain (warehouse/4walls) environment
- Advanced knowledge of statistics
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications with a dvanced knowledge of Excel, Access and Power BI
- Insight into a Warehouse Management Systems allowing for understanding of system capabilities
- AutoCAD
- Lean methodologies
- Six Sigma tools
- Knowledge of various storage methodologies as well as material handling equipment
- Storage and process design
