About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee day-to-day operations of the air export team to ensure accurate and timely shipment processing
- Supervise and coordinate activities of air export coordinators
- Communicate with customers, carriers, and other stakeholders for timely delivery
- Resolve issues related to shipments, such as delays, damages, or customs clearance problems
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation including air waybills and commercial invoices
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Participate in developing process improvements for efficiency and quality
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in transportation, logistics, international business, or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of air export operations, documentation, and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and/or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is preferred
