About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- supervising, labor management, and planning of inbound, outbound, Product slotting and customer communication activities daily
- labor scheduling, space utilization, equipment and manpower management
- hiring and training, planning and assigning daily work
- conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues and resolving problems
- supervising the receiving, warehousing and shipping of products
- ensuring the development of systems and procedures for managing operations
- compliance with terms outlined in the site's operating agreement with the client
- managing operations to meet prescribed productivity and service goals
- implementing and reporting on-going cost savings measures
- conducting regular meetings with staff to assess group's overall status
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
- 1 year experience in a supervisory role
- Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation (preferred)
- Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- RF Scanners
- WMS functions
- English (reading, writing, verbal)
