About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operational handling of sea freight import shipments
Preparing quotes for existing customers and on an ad-hoc basis
Order entry and order processing in CW1
Independent coordination and planning of onward transports
Processing including invoicing and posting of incoming and outgoing documents
Customer support and claims handling
Correspondence with national and international DSV branches, as well as with shipping lines and service providers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed vocational training as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk, Industrial Clerk, Wholesale/Foreign Trade Clerk, or equivalent qualification
Experience handling sea freight imports
Proficiency in standard MS Office applications
Very good German and good English skills, spoken and written
Strong communication skills and a confident manner
Service- and customer-oriented attitude
Strong time management skills
Flexibility
Ability to work independently
Team player
