About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Operational handling of sea freight import shipments
  • Preparing quotes for existing customers and on an ad-hoc basis
  • Order entry and order processing in CW1
  • Independent coordination and planning of onward transports
  • Processing including invoicing and posting of incoming and outgoing documents
  • Customer support and claims handling
  • Correspondence with national and international DSV branches, as well as with shipping lines and service providers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed vocational training as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk, Industrial Clerk, Wholesale/Foreign Trade Clerk, or equivalent qualification
  • Experience handling sea freight imports
  • Proficiency in standard MS Office applications
  • Very good German and good English skills, spoken and written
  • Strong communication skills and a confident manner
  • Service- and customer-oriented attitude
  • Strong time management skills
  • Flexibility
  • Ability to work independently
  • Team player
