About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform billing assistance duties in a business or corporate setting facility.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients and customers.
- Process, prepare and complete third-party invoices.
- Check and issue billing adjustments to customers.
- Check, print and validate billings and invoices.
- Track, check and process delinquent invoices.
- Track, verify and mail customer refund checks.
- Perform daily closing and balancing of payments and receipts.
- Maintain and manage daily logs of transactions in an organized manner.
- Coordinate with accounts receivable and accounts payable departments.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or associate degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or Equivalent Work Experience
- 2-5 years of experience as an administrative assistant, billing specialist or clerk in a corporate environment
- Experience with billing or accounting preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong sense of urgency, strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
