About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise labor management and planning of inbound, outbound, product slotting and customer communication activities daily
- Conduct staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities
- Keep senior management and client representatives informed of critical issues
- Manage operations to meet prescribed productivity and service goals
- Ensure compliance with company policies
- Provide hiring and training programs for team members
- Assist in evaluating and promoting team members
- Plan daily work schedules and assign duties to warehouse staff
- Conduct regular meetings to assess group status and discuss improvements
- Support adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 3 years’ experience in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
- 1 year experience in a supervisory role
- Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- RF Scanners
- WMS functions
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends if required
- Must adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
