About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • supervising labor management and planning of inbound, outbound, product slotting and customer communication activities daily
  • hiring and training, planning and assigning daily work, conducting performance appraisals
  • supervising the receiving, warehousing and shipping of products in accordance with company objectives
  • conducting staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities
  • managing operations to meet prescribed productivity and service goals
  • providing ideas and suggestions for more efficient operations
  • assessing priorities based on time sensitivity and available resources
  • delivering results by leveraging the skills of the right people

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
  • 1 year experience in a supervisory role
  • Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation preferred
  • Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point)
  • RF Scanners and WMS functions
