About the role
- Work across a range of outsourcing and contracting activities across our clinical pipeline, well supported by your category team members.
- Manage sourcing projects and processes within Clinical Studies, hereunder run RFPs, Bid Defense Meetings, as well as negotiation of Work Orders, Change Orders and contracts in close alignment with Lundbeck’s line of business and management – all based on category management methodology.
- Participate in lifecycle management of the relevant contract portfolio and strategic vendor relations, ensuring continued commercial and legal governance and value generation.
- Take part in the close collaboration with internal key stakeholders to secure project and strategy alignment.
- Ensure clinical study quality & timelines, compliance, intellectual property, liability and regulatory requirements and overall Lundbeck long term interests across the contract portfolio.
Requirements
- Project management skills demonstrated through a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing projects either in or related to Clinical Development (for example as clinical study/trial manager, procurement role, or similar).
- Profound understanding of clinical studies is a key requirement, but we are open to where your experience comes from.
- Business partnering skills, ability to influence and an emphatic mind-set.
- An interest in building or further building your outsourcing skills (project management, negotiations, legal understanding, data analysis and Category Management).
- A Master’s Degree from a University or Business School relevant to the position.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a structured approach.
- The ability to manage many projects and tasks simultaneously with a high drive.
- A keen interest for outsourcing and in continuously developing your skill-set both as an individual and together with your colleagues.
- English fluency, verbally and written.
