About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate the exportation of goods by air
- Schedule with airlines and manage the movement of goods
- Prepare and process documentation for customs clearance
- Track and monitor shipments providing updates to customers
- Manage customer relationships and address concerns
- Collaborate with internal departments for service delivery
- Ensure compliance with regulations and laws
Requirements
What you’ll need- Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in Freight Forwarding is highly desirable
- Mathematical Skills
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as calculating costs and rates
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of air freight logistics and customs regulations
- Understanding of trade laws and regulations
- Fluency in English is required
- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with logistics software and systems is preferred
