Data Center Operations Manager – Overnight

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervising labor management and planning of inbound, outbound activities.
- Conducting staff meetings to review work activities and improvement plans.
- Keeping senior management informed of critical operational issues.
- Ensuring development of systems and procedures for safe and profitable operations.
- Managing operations to meet productivity and service goals.
- Providing ideas for operational efficiency and meeting client KPIs.
- Communicating with and supporting the Human Resources team for hiring and training.
- Planning daily work schedules based on customer instructions and existing orders.
- Assessing priorities and assigning duties to data center staff.
- Training new staff members and assessing their progress.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
- 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
- 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
- Able to operate MHE.
- Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, and Power Point).
- Experience with RF Scanners and WMS functions.
- English (reading, writing, verbal) proficiency.
- Basic to intermediate mathematical skills for inventory and product handling.
