About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support route and trade lane development initiatives between Nordics, China and HK.
- Actively generate high-profile leads, target new customers, lead the conversion of high-value business opportunities with the assigned trade lane.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analyze competitor solutions, pricing strategies and trade lane dynamics to identify untapped sectors and construct business planning.
- Responsible to steer pricing levels for local and global tenders (RFQs).
- Collaborate closely with Procurement and Products to develop innovative, tailored solutions to meet customer demands and to align with carrier conditions.
- Manage and execute assigned projects, including planning, tracking, and delivery.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution of trade lane activities.
- Monitor performance metrics (e.g., cost, service levels, volume) and support profitability tracking.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support continuous improvement and decision-making.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor Degree or above in project management, logistics, supply chain or related disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years’ solid experiences in the field with freight forwarding experience.
- Acute business development with strong negotiation skills.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Proactive and well organized with international mindset.
- Capability to build strong business relationship.
- Ability to define requirements, analyze facts, and determine relevant solution.
