About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for supervising labor management and planning of inbound and outbound activities
  • Conducts staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities
  • Ensures development of systems and procedures for safe operation of equipment and products
  • Implements ongoing cost savings measures and provides ideas for more efficient operations
  • Manages operations to meet prescribed productivity and service goals
  • Assesses priorities for daily work schedule and assigns duties to warehouse staff
  • Reviews pending jobs or trends to plan for reorganization of warehouse space
  • Marine of overall training and evaluation responsibilities of warehouse staff
  • Provides input and conducts annual performance reviews for team members

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
  • 1 year experience in a supervisory role
  • Preferred: Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation
  • Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, and Power Point)
  • RF Scanners
  • WMS functions
  • English (reading, writing, verbal)
