About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for supervising labor management and planning of inbound and outbound activities
- Conducts staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities
- Ensures development of systems and procedures for safe operation of equipment and products
- Implements ongoing cost savings measures and provides ideas for more efficient operations
- Manages operations to meet prescribed productivity and service goals
- Assesses priorities for daily work schedule and assigns duties to warehouse staff
- Reviews pending jobs or trends to plan for reorganization of warehouse space
- Marine of overall training and evaluation responsibilities of warehouse staff
- Provides input and conducts annual performance reviews for team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
- 1 year experience in a supervisory role
- Preferred: Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation
- Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, and Power Point)
- RF Scanners
- WMS functions
- English (reading, writing, verbal)
