Business Development Manager
Cookie InformationBusiness Development Manager for DSV, focusing on developing sales in air and sea freight. Responsible for handling pre-sales activities, generating business, and achieving targets.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop prospect business in particular route pairings within the DSV Trade Lanes
- Responsible to grow the assigned routes based on an aligned sales plan, customer target list and personal KPI’s
- Handle pre-sales activities for Sales Team; follow and obtain customer’s feedback
- Generate business for all the products Air/Sea/Custom clearance & Insurance
- Achieve set individual GP & Volume target
- Maintain & develop relationship with customers and help in enhancing business growth
- Report Sales activity into the CRM tool
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 years of work experience (minimum)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Other languages (written and spoken) preferred
- Good knowledge of Microsoft® Office Software (Excel®, Word, PowerPoint® and others)
- Good knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tools, Microsoft Dynamic Tools
- Graduate/MBA
- Gathering and analyzing of market data (various industries)
- Worked in an international company within a matrix organization
