About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain application systems for internal and external system integration
Develop and maintain backend systems using Python and/or Java
Design and implement RESTful APIs for system-to-system data exchange
Integrate with third-party systems via APIs (customers, logistics partners, vendors, etc.)
Develop, maintain, and support EDI communication and data transmission processes
Design, develop, and optimize relational databases and SQL queries
Perform system analysis, requirement evaluation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
Prepare technical documentation and support system testing and production deployment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficiency in at least one backend programming language: * Python and/or Java
Strong experience with relational databases, including: * Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) * Oracle * MySQL
Hands-on experience in RESTful API development and integration
Familiarity with API communication standards (HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, XML, Flat, AS2.)
Experience or understanding of EDI communication protocols and data exchange workflows
Solid SQL skills, including query writing and performance tuning
