About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Secure new customers and retain/develop existing accounts to drive business growth.
- Regularly visit potential and existing customers.
- Develop business within assigned DSV Trade Lanes and routes, grow the assigned routes based on sales plans, targets, and KPIs.
- Identify and enlarge targeted customer base and Industry.
- Generate and convert sales leads into revenue generating business.
- Follow up on customers communications in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to execute customer service contracts, generate business &maximize profits.
- Contribute to business development through market insights and regular sales meetings.
- Ensure proper credit verification for customers and manage payment collections.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2-4 years of field sales experience within the freight forwarding industry.
- Experienced in Import sales specialist (Air & Sea).
- Graduation in any stream, and fluent in English.
- MS Office skills and good knowledge of IT systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
