About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for data acquisition, processing, and delivering high-quality, accurate reports.
- Support Junior Account Managers, ensuring task accuracy, and training new team members.
- Maintain process descriptions with the Account Owner and collaborate on customer support activities.
- Create and manage spot quotation requests and ensure timely updates.
- Prepare and deliver commercial reports based on established SOPs.
- Actively assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies in invoices.
- Address related queries from internal teams or customers promptly.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Candidate must be a graduate of a 4-year course, preferably in a business-related field or customs studies.
- A background in freight forwarding or logistics is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Transport Management Systems (TMS).
- Experience with various TMS platforms is beneficial.
- Sales and commercial process exposure is advantageous.
- Understanding Incoterms and their application to international shipments is essential.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Comfortable navigating web-based applications.
- Strong ability to quickly grasp new concepts and maintain focus under pressure.
- Demonstrates resilience and prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
- A meticulous, accurate, and reliable work ethic.
- Strong teamwork capabilities with good interpersonal skills.
- Openness and flexibility in meeting customer demands.
