About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage daily transportation operations for assigned customer accounts while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service execution.
Coordinate and expedite freight movements to fulfill customer transportation requirements.
Serve as a primary operational point of contact for customers regarding shipment activity, service updates, and issue resolution.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and internal operational teams.
Independently assess operational situations and resolve issues in the best interest of both the customer and the company.
Provide reporting, shipment updates, and operational metrics to customers as requested.
Collaborate with Account Managers and operational teams to ensure proper load coverage and maximize carrier utilization opportunities.
Audit system data throughout the billing process, including shipment validation and load accuracy.
Track shipments proactively and communicate pertinent load information to customers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in logistics, transportation brokerage, supply chain, or a related operational environment preferred
Experience managing customer accounts and transportation operations in a fast-paced environment preferred
Prior experience coordinating freight movements and working with carriers and customers preferred
Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) is required
