About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage, and develop the strategy development, that is closely aligned to the strategic directions of both the DSV UK and Ireland Air & Sea business.
Support and drive commercial discussions, including rate reviews, margin monitoring, and contract alignment.
Ensure an efficient and effective infrastructure and resource plan (people, systems, and process) to deliver customer expectations and Branch performance targets.
Leading & motivating a team of dedicated employees to ensure a harmonized and sustainable service level (cross-country / cross-regional).
Drive supply chain improvements by applying digital technology (order management, dashboards, predictive analytics, Aerospace dedicated solutions, etc.).
Identify & manage joint value projects to ensure win-win situations for customers and DSV.
Design & drive customer quarterly business reviews.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong background in key account management or commercial customer management.
Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
Commercial awareness with the ability to support rate discussions and margin control.
Previous knowledge of budgeting and forecasting to develop financial plans and strategies.
Man-Management skills to motivate and lead employees
