About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operate power industrial trucks for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise
Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift
Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations
Efficiently stack and store products in appropriate areas
Pull and prepare shipments ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and report quality variances
Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with safety standards
Perform daily inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other equipment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
6 months experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
Able to operate material handling equipment (MHE)
Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse
Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
Basic computer skills including RF Scanners and WMS functions
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
