Key responsibilities & impact

Handle all day-to-day operational elements of customer’s needs
Seek out the best methods to move freight based on customer requirements
Organize and prioritize activities to complete tasks and assignments
Perform all necessary Import, Export and Domestic Transportation activities
Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information
Anticipate, identify, and rectify any exceptions
Build strong relationships with carriers through communication
Complete performance reports for all carrier-related issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 1-2 years in transportation/logistics/distribution
College Diploma / University Degree in Business, Logistics, or International Trade preferable
CIFFA certificate, an asset
Dangerous Goods Certification, an asset
Proficient in both English and French languages
Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment
Microsoft Office suite
Working knowledge of transportation management software i.e., Load Link, PC Miler, etc., would be an asset.
