About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute ocean marine drayage services for FCL movements
Ensure that delivery and pick up services are completed on time and in full without any exceptions
Select and dispatch pick-up and delivery orders to truckers that are part of the pre-confirmed MCT database
Manage chassis pool operations with each provider where practical to ensure maximum profitability
Review, record, and develop solutions for repetitive service failures
Streamline proactive container tracking communications
Prioritize time sensitive cargo, and effectively monitor all daily pick-ups and deliveries
Negotiate pricing as needed to maximize profits

Requirements

What you’ll need

3 - 5 years of experience in Logistics and customer service environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel
Good understanding of ocean export/import operations and transload operations
Essential - Experience in trucking carrier deliveries/recovery process and terminal port/CY requirements
Maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Email and Telephone etiquette
Ability to troubleshoot day-to-day issues that may arise during pick-up or delivery process
