About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Control and coordinate daily operational flow between warehouse dispatch and transport loading activities
Act as the operational gatekeeper for warehouse loading readiness
Validate order availability, ex picking completion, and loading accuracy prior to dispatch
Ensure adherence to DSV standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Proactively identify risks related to stock accuracy and timing
Drive corrective actions in real time
Own and deliver continuous improvement initiatives for dispatch reliability
Participate in operational meetings to feedback risks, constraints, and improvement opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Matric or Equivalent
Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Transport Management (Advantageous)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data capture, manipulation and analysis
Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Experience working with Transport Management Systems (TMS)
2-5 years relevant experience in Retail industry (Transportation Role)
Customer Services skills
Strong understanding of warehouse and transport supply chain operations
Operational knowledge of Inbound, Outbound, and Returns processes
Solid understanding of domestic and cross-border/international transport requirements
High focus on compliance
Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
Pro-active, solution-driven, and forward-thinking approach
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
Customer-focused approach
