About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Research and analyze best-in-class tools and design solutions
Track projects and communicate with engineering leadership
Analyze workflow including inbound, put away, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping and VAS processes
Configure distribution system functionality to optimize performance
Perform special research or technical studies critical to logistic support functions
Develop logistics engineering strategies with the engineering leadership team
Document and communicate common processes for all distribution functions within scope of responsibility
Drive standard approach for US based operations
Support the labor management program, including methods and procedures, engineered labor standards
Educate team in LEAN expanding knowledge base to support and develop a sustainable CI culture

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering required or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a supply chain (warehouse/4walls) environment.
Prior leadership positions directing Logistics Engineers in 3PL/supply chain environment
Advanced knowledge of statistics
Proficiency in MS Office Applications with advanced knowledge of Excel, Access and Power BI
Insight into a Warehouse Management Systems allowing for understanding of system capabilities
AutoCAD
Lean methodologies
Six Sigma tools
Knowledge of various storage methodologies as well as material handling equipment
Storage and process design
