Manager, Dangerous Goods

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the safe handling, storage, and global distribution of lithium batteries
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all lithium battery shipping regulations
- Prepare and validate Dangerous Goods documentation
- Ensure compliance with IATA DGR, IMDG Code, and 49 CFR regulations
- Design and maintain specialized storage zones for lithium batteries
- Develop and deliver DG awareness training for warehouse staff
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business or a related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in supply chain management focusing on the handling of dangerous goods materials
- Microsoft Office & G Suite proficiency
- IATA DGR Certification: Current certification for the transport of Dangerous Goods by Air
- IMDG Code Certification: Valid certification for the transport of Dangerous Goods by Sea
- 49 CFR / DOT Hazmat knowledge
