About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment activities for assigned requisitions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
  • Support requisition creation and posting within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and other recruiting channels to build strong talent pipelines.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers and stakeholders to ensure an efficient and seamless hiring process.
  • Maintain accurate and organized candidate records within the ATS and support reporting and tracking efforts.
  • Support high-volume and specialized hiring initiatives across multiple locations and business units.
  • Collaborate with P&O (HR) Business Partners, operations leaders, and internal stakeholders to align recruiting priorities with workforce needs.
  • Partner with leadership to develop sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill or critical roles.
  • Provide recruiting-related guidance and support to HR and business teams, assisting with process questions and issue resolution.
  • Participate in intake meetings, hiring discussions, and candidate debriefs with stakeholders.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication, professionalism, and transparency throughout the hiring process.
  • Represent the organization at job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws to ensure compliant recruiting practices.
  • Uphold company recruitment standards, policies, and data privacy requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, reduce time-to-fill, and enhance overall hiring effectiveness.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to strengthen recruiting and HR expertise.
  • Perform additional duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in recruiting, HR, or a related role required (internship experience may be considered).
  • Experience in high-volume recruiting and/or logistics, transportation, or supply chain environments preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Professional demeanor with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships across teams and organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws related to recruitment practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
