HR Specialist
Cookie InformationHR Specialist handling employee relations, compliance, and policy improvement in a logistics company. Supporting HR Managers and enhancing the employee experience for a growing team.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Be the first point of contact for managers on day‑to‑day employee relations and performance management queries
- Prepare essential HR administration including disciplinary invites, outcomes, absence reviews, terminations, severance letters, and TUPE documentation
- Support the HR Team and Senior HR Managers with initiatives aimed at enhancing the employee experience
- Identify and recommend improvements to HR policies and procedures
- Deliver training and development support for people managers across HR topics, including Inductions, Disciplinaries, Investigations, and more
- Provide assistance to Senior Managers on ad‑hoc priorities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience in an HR Admin or HR Advisor role
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
- Sound judgement, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Customer-focused approach with professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and handle a varied workload
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
