About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Direct in-charge for handling claims related to deviations or dispute
- This includes reviewing claims, negotiating settlements, and ensuring that claims are processed efficiently
- Managing the insurance policies related to the projects or contracts
- This includes maintaining and updating insurance coverage, ensuring compliance with the insurance requirements in contracts, and managing claims with insurance companies when necessary
- Assesses potential risks associated with the scope of work and contracts
- Minimize risks through effective contract management and insurance coverage
- Ensuring that all parties involved in a project or contract are in compliance with the agreed-upon terms and conditions, including requirements, is a critical aspect of the role
- Maintaining detailed records of all aspects related to scope of work, claims, and insurance is essential
- This includes documenting claim details, insurance policies, and contract compliance
- Effective communication
- Liaise with managers, contractors, insurance providers, and legal teams to resolve disputes and address issues related to scope, claims, and insurance
- Understanding of contract law, insurance regulations, and relevant legal aspects
- This knowledge is required to make informed decisions and resolve disputes effectively
- Managing the costs associated with claims and insurance
- This includes budgeting for insurance premiums and allocating fund for potential claims
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement
- This can include streamlining claims processes, reducing risk, and optimizing insurance coverage
- Provide insurance knowledge to relevant parties, Finance, Admin, Sales, Operations, etc.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Thai nationality is required
- Full proficiency in both Thai and English, written and spoken
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
- A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs services, and freight insurance
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in standard business applications
