Legal Counsel, DACH

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide legal advice to management and business units across the DACH region on all legal matters, with a focus on Austria and on transport, logistics and contract law.
- Review, draft and negotiate contracts and provide support during tenders.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Provide legal support in claims, disputes and proceedings.
- Manage external counsel.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports on legal matters.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in law (Mag. iur.) or business/economic law (LL.M) obtained in Austria.
- At least 3–4 years of professional experience, preferably as in-house counsel in transport, logistics and commercial/trade law.
- In-depth knowledge of transport, logistics and commercial/trade law is desirable.
- Knowledge of German and/or Swiss law is an advantage.
- Fluent German and English (business/professional proficiency).
- Additional languages are a plus.
