About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and execute a network-wide learning strategy aligned with operational standards, productivity targets, safety requirements, and customer expectations.
Develop structured training roadmaps for all operations roles, including hourly associates, team leads, supervisors, and managers.
Identify capability gaps through performance metrics, audits, incident trends, and leadership input.
Partner with the Center of Excellence and Operations leaders to align training programs with standard work, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Create and maintain standardized training content, including: SOP- and standard work–based training modules, instructor-led and train-the-trainer programs, e-learning and blended learning solutions, job instruction breakdowns, and visual aids.
Collaborate with operational subject matter experts to ensure content is practical, current, and scalable.
Define and track training effectiveness metrics, including time-to-productivity, safety outcomes, quality performance, and engagement.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5–8+ years of Learning & Development experience in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, or similar operational environments
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing end-to-end training programs
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and frontline execution
Experience administering and managing an LMS
Ability to influence and lead through collaboration rather than authority
Willingness to travel across a multi-site distribution network
