HR Operations Supervisor

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and support the HR Service Desk, ensuring timely, accurate, and high‑quality HR support
- Act as the first escalation point for complex or sensitive HR queries, working closely with HR Partnering teams
- Monitor workload, trends, SLAs, KPIs, and service quality, escalating risks or issues where needed
- Coach, develop, and performance‑manage your team, promoting a culture of service excellence and learning
- Oversee case management, compliance, and data confidentiality, supporting audits as required
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies in collaboration with senior HR leaders
- Support HR systems enhancements and take part in UAT when required
- Work closely with Payroll, IT, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and line managers to ensure joined‑up HR delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience supervising or managing an HR operations/ shared‑services team
- Excellent knowledge of HR processes, policies, and employment legislation
- A customer‑focused mindset with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- Confident managing escalations, priorities, and competing workloads
- A passion for developing people and improving how HR services are delivered.
