About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Efficient dispatching of local transport vehicles and their drivers
- Independent monitoring of deliveries and pickups
- Professional and reliable scheduling and adherence to appointments
- Sourcing, briefing, deployment and management of subcontractors and their drivers
- Organization and supervision of special transports
- Close cooperation with colleagues from customer service, long-haul transport and the transshipment warehouse
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with quality standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Vocational qualification as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk (m/f/d) or equivalent
- Initial experience in dispatching
- Good regional and geographic knowledge of Kiel and the surrounding area
- Confident PC skills, including MS Office
- Strong organizational, communication and assertiveness skills
- Willingness to work variable hours, flexibility, and ability to work in a team
- German language skills, written and spoken, required
