About the role
- Responsible for day-to-day site operations
- Supervising warehousing, receiving, and shipping of products
- Planning inbound and outbound volume and customer communication activities
- Managing people including hiring, training, and performance appraisals
- Ensuring compliance with corporate policies and quality requirements
- Collaborating with Human Resources for staff development
- Achieving productivity and service goals
- Conducting routine staff meetings to review activities
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 7 years’ experience in logistics/distribution/relevant environment
- 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with WMS systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and personnel skills
- Able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
- Must be able to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment
