💰 $27 - $30 per hour
About the role
- Perform light repair and maintenance work on Class 8 tractors and trailers
- Respond to field service needs and driver breakdowns
- Conduct equipment condition assessments and determine appropriate repair paths
- Initiate service and repair work by diagnosing issues and writing repair orders
- Maintain company-provided tools, truck, and equipment in clean, safe operating condition
- Serve as a mobile communicator and liaison between drivers, maintenance vendors, dispatch, and internal departments
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A)
- 2+ years of diesel, tractor/trailer, or fleet maintenance experience
- Basic understanding of DOT regulations and FMCSA compliance standards
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and others)
