About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform light repair and maintenance work on Class 8 tractors and trailers
Respond to field service needs and driver breakdowns
Conduct equipment condition assessments and determine appropriate repair paths
Initiate service and repair work by diagnosing issues and writing repair orders
Maintain company-provided tools, truck, and equipment in clean, safe operating condition
Serve as a mobile communicator and liaison between drivers, maintenance vendors, dispatch, and internal departments

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A)
2+ years of diesel, tractor/trailer, or fleet maintenance experience
Basic understanding of DOT regulations and FMCSA compliance standards
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and others)
