About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and orders via phone, email, or other communication channels
- Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding products, services, pricing, and delivery schedules
- Coordinate with internal teams, such as sales, logistics, and finance, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services
- Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce complaints
- Maintain customer records and documentation
- Provide support to sales teams in the form of lead generation and follow-up
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customer service standards and best practices
- Participate in customer service training programs and workshops
Requirements
What you’ll need- An associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service is required, with experience in the transportation and logistics industry preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel and Word
- Experience with customer service software, such as Zendesk or Salesforce, preferred.
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
