About the role

  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs and policies
  • Conduct compliance audits and reviews to assess adherence to regulations and internal procedures
  • Identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update internal policies and procedures accordingly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance across different departments
  • Assist in investigating compliance-related incidents and violations
  • Support the development and maintenance of compliance documentation and record-keeping
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging compliance trends
  • Assist in preparing and submitting required reports to regulatory agencies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in compliance, preferably in U.S. Customs
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks
  • Knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks and best practices
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
  • Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation techniques
