About the role

  • Responsible for the analysis, planning, creation and execution of functional tests in all test phases of the project.
  • Responsible for test cases creation for IT test phases and involved in acceptance tests support.
  • Assures alignment between raised business requirements and delivered system functionality.
  • Reviews requirements and specifications and defines test conditions in cooperation with business analysts based on feedback from business representatives
  • Designs test cases and test scripts, assuring traceability to agreed requirements and stories and required test coverage, recording and reporting outcomes
  • Executes, interprets and records test cases according to test plans (for both frontend and backend verification)
  • Analyses and reports test activities and results
  • Collaborates closely with developers and QA automation engineers in test environment setup, test data creation and regression tests scope definition
  • Provides guidance regarding technical feasibility of testing tasks
  • Identifies and reports issues and risks associated with quality assurance area
  • Coordinates activities within the test phase, if requires
  • Timely delivery of assigned tasks
  • Consistent quality of delivered work
  • Effective collaboration with project stakeholders
  • Alignment between delivered solutions and business needs
  • Smooth and efficient execution of testing activities

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Agile QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Familiarity with Test Management Tools like TestRail, JIRA
  • Experience with SQL
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Nice to have: Certified Tester Foundation Level (ISTQB)
  • Experience in working with UML-based documentation
  • Experience with test automation tools (preferred: Robot Framework
