About the role
- Analyze QHSE performance data and support initiatives designed to improve safety, environmental, and quality performance
- Conduct QHSE assessments including risk assessments, environmental aspects and impacts assessments, and operational compliance reviews
- Participate in accident and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are identified, implemented, and properly documented
- Evaluate operational practices against regulatory requirements and corporate QHSE standards
- Support identification and monitoring of applicable local, state, and federal QHSE regulations
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Corporate QHSE Management System
- Support the development and coordination of QHSE training programs
- Monitor customer, regulatory, and industry QHSE requirements
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, safety, environmental management, or a related field within transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Experience supporting regulatory compliance programs, safety initiatives, or environmental management systems
- Experience supporting or implementing QHSE management systems is preferred
- Knowledge of freight forwarding, brokerage, transportation, or supply chain operations is beneficial
- Professional certifications related to safety, environmental management, compliance, or auditing are a plus
