About the role

  • Perform Customs business activities.
  • Responsible for transactions with U.S. Customs concerning the entry and admissibility of merchandise.
  • Conduct effective research and communicate with clients and CBP.
  • Manage Customs entries and monitor clearance.
  • Maintain required documents under 19 CFR 163.
  • Verify classification and valuation with the importer when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and timely payment of duties, taxes, or other charges.
  • Monitor and track customs clearances and resolve any delays or issues.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, customs brokers, and government agencies.
  • Attend trainings and support the development and implementation of customs compliance procedures and policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Customs brokerage.
  • U.S. Customs Brokerage License.
  • Certification in customs compliance or a related area.
  • Experience working with a variety of industries and commodities.
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, processes, and documentation.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in customs declarations and record-keeping.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with ACE Secure Data Portal.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written).
