About the role

  • selling the transportation and logistics services of DSV to prospective clients
  • working closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure that customer requirements are met
  • developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • identifying and targeting potential customers, including cold-calling and prospecting
  • establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, including regular follow-up and meetings
  • collaborating with the operations team to ensure customer requirements are met
  • negotiating contracts and pricing with customers
  • managing the sales pipeline and updating the CRM system with accurate and up-to-date information
  • staying up-to-date with industry trends and providing feedback to the management team

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the transportation and logistics industry
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM software, preferably Salesforce
