About the role

  • Supports department leadership by managing daily compliance activities related to driver qualification files, ELD logs, safety camera events, vehicle licensing, and fuel processes.
  • Maintains high-volume, audit-ready records in systems such as Tenstreet, Geotab, and Netradyne.
  • Provides cross-functional support for fuel tax and vehicle licensing activities, including Comdata fuel card administration.
  • Manages Driver Qualification (DQ) files, verifying new hires meet all requirements.
  • Reviews daily ELD logs for errors and violations, assigning unassigned driving time.
  • Reviews daily safety camera events to monitor driver safety scores and identify high-risk behaviors.
  • Assists with fuel card activity, monitors fuel usage trends, and supports fuel tax reporting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or coursework in transportation, safety, or business preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in trucking, transportation safety, DOT compliance, or fleet operations preferred.
  • Working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations strongly preferred.
  • Experience using Tenstreet, Geotab, Netradyne, or similar safety and compliance systems is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate, audit-ready records.
  • Ability to analyze compliance data, identify trends, and escalate risks.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills in a high-volume environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Sound judgment and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, compliance-driven setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation compliance systems.
