About the role
- Lead and optimize the collections function for the assigned portfolio
- Ensure timely and effective recovery of receivables
- Minimize credit risk and support sustainable cash flow
- Drive efficient processes and strong regulatory compliance
- Manage complex, high-risk, or escalated collection cases when required
- Collaborate closely with Business, Credit, and Legal to align objectives and processes
- Use data and insights to continuously improve collection strategies and customer treatment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Proven experience in collections, credit management, or accounts receivable
- Previous leadership or people management experience
- Strong understanding of collection laws and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
- Proficiency in MS Office and collection/CRM systems
