About the role

  • The Senior Business Analyst, Transportation serves as the transportation subject matter expert and is responsible for analyzing, designing, governing, and optimizing trucking operations integrated with warehouse networks.
  • This role functions as the primary liaison between warehouse operations and transportation, ensuring alignment on network design, carrier strategy, performance management, and cost efficiency.
  • This position owns transportation KPIs, data visibility, and carrier performance governance across all warehouse-supported verticals, providing strategic and operational leadership to structure scalable, compliant, and high-performing trucking solutions that support warehouse operations and customer requirements.
  • The role develops performance visibility, evaluates carrier performance, and supports leadership decision-making through data analysis, financial modeling, and operational recommendations.
  • Partnering closely with Operations, Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Transportation stakeholders, the position supports implementations, network expansion, and continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse-integrated transportation programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in transportation operations, logistics analysis, trucking operations, dedicated fleet management, or supply chain analytics.
  • Experience designing or supporting transportation networks integrated with warehouse or distribution operations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing carrier performance, service KPIs, and cost improvement initiatives.
  • Experience supporting new business implementations and network expansions.
  • Experience in capacity planning, forecasting, and network modeling based on projected volumes.
  • Experience working across multiple internal stakeholders (operations, finance, procurement, and sales).
