About the role

  • Monitor Customs Clearance operations for Imports and Exports to ensure service levels are met according to procedures agreed in the SOP/Contract
  • Operate within the defined information flow for clearance operations carried out by our commercial partners
  • Monitor clients' daily process routines to ensure operational excellence and meet customer expectations
  • Liaise with the Ministry of Finance, Federal Revenue Superintendence and Inspectorate, and other agencies to ensure compliance with customs regulations
  • Assist with implementations and operational reengineering projects
  • Work with clients and the finance department to support the resolution of any financial issues
  • Address deviations identified in DSV's internal KPIs

Requirements

  • High school diploma or currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, International Relations, Engineering, or related fields
  • Intermediate English
  • Minimum 6 months' experience in areas related to Foreign Trade
  • Knowledge of Customs Clearance procedures (Imports and Exports)
  • Familiarity with related areas (Commercial/Sales, Billing, Customer Service, Gateways, Carriers, Terminals, EADIs, etc.)
