About the role

  • Develop and implement EIC strategies and initiatives that drive impact and align with the organization's overall business objectives, purpose and beliefs.
  • Partner with senior leaders and HR to help embed inclusion, belonging and psychological safety into talent management, performance, and engagement frameworks.
  • Serve as the primary architect for programs and initiatives that enhance belonging, inclusion, and psychological safety within the organization.
  • Develop messaging and storytelling that celebrates and promotes inclusion and belonging.
  • Oversee and support the development and sustainability of ERGs, serving as a key advisor to ERG leaders and executive sponsors.
  • Design opportunities for ERGs to contribute to business objectives and a culture of inclusion and belonging.
  • Provide coaching and consultation to people managers on inclusive practices and behaviors that enhance team belonging and performance.
  • Partner with leadership and HR to enhance recruitment and retention strategies to attract and retain a diverse workforce.
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversee the EIC Council and ERGs to ensure effective and coordinated strategies and initiatives aligned to business and EIC strategies.
  • Build foundational relationships with other functions to foster a culture of inclusion and belonging and successfully execute EIC strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, people leaders, HR, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for promoting and integrating EIC within the organization to further enhance our culture and business outcomes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on EIC issues and provide guidance and coaching to senior leaders, people leaders, and employees on EIC best practices, principles, and skills necessary to build cultural competence and foster inclusive behaviors.
  • Enhance the EIC program through well-defined strategies, roles and responsibilities, and programs and workstreams, with a focus on accountability, curiosity and adaptability.

Requirements

  • Accredited bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in a corporate setting
  • Exceptional interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Experience leading and working with EIC communities, ERGs and programming within a corporate setting
  • Experience designing, developing and leading the execution of messaging, programs and initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience developing EIC programming and initiatives
  • Knowledge of EIC issues and the external landscape
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build trust with a wide range of stakeholders across functions
