About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive operational excellence across Cook Medical in APAC
Manage and develop the General Managers in the region
Establish and maintain operational standards across APAC markets
Drive collaboration among global functional departments representing the APAC region
Represent APAC operational interests in senior leadership forums and governance bodies
Manage hiring, performance, and rewards decisions for direct and indirect reports within the APAC Operations function
Ensure development and execution of market-specific strategic plans aligned with global corporate direction.
Promote Cook Medical's reputation, values, and Code of Ethics across all APAC operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in business, Life Sciences, Engineering, International Management, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience
Proven track record managing complex, multi-territory or multi-market operational environments
Experience directly managing General Managers, Market or Territory Managers, or equivalent senior operational leaders across multiple geographies
General understanding of APAC regulatory environments (e.g., PMDA — Japan, NMPA — China, KFDA — Korea, CDSCO — India)
Advanced business acumen; experience managing or advising on operational P&L, budgeting, and forecasting
Strong communication and executive presence; ability to influence senior executive leadership
Strategic thinking with the ability to translate organizational goals into clear operational plans.
